FIDIC AFRICA INFRASTRUCTURE CONFERENCE 2023
The Association of Consulting Engineers of Zambia (ACEZ) were the official Hosts of the 29th FIDIC Africa Infrastructure Conference 2023. FIDIC Africa hosts Infrastructure Conferences annually in different parts of the continent. ACEZ in a new wave of change, decided to contribute more to the consulting engineering community in Africa and chose take up the mantle of hosting the Conference.
The Conference took place from 21-24 May 2023. As per FIDIC tradition, Pre-Conference activities such as Future Leaders Symposium and DNS Meeting took place on the first day. This was succeeded by the 2-day day conference activities. ACEZ however included an “Excursion” that would cater to both Engineers and non-Engineering delegates, to close off with a relaxing sight-seeing activity. The Excursion included a trip to the Kazungula Bridge and a Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River
